Shopain, June 11 (KNO) : A militant has been killed in an ongoing encounter in Awneera village of zainapora belt in South kashmir's Shopian district
An official confirmed to KNO that one militant has been killed while as encounter is on in the area.
Earlier on receiving specific inputs about the presence of militants in the area joint team of forces including 1st RR, CRPF and SOG launched search operation in the area, official said
On intensifying the search operation towards the suspected spot, militants hiding fired upon forces which was retaliated triggering gunfight, he said
As per sources two to three militant belonging to ISJK are believed to be trapped in the area.(KNO)
